Minturn Huller Co-Op

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Minturn Huller is an almond hulling and shelling operation that was driven to run their facility more efficiently. With an existing 65,000 SF building, we were able to utilize that roof top space for half of the solar panels needed. Our creative solution for this project was to construct an additional solar support structure to house the other half of the solar array. This served a dual purpose providing a 60,000 SF shade structure while housing the remainder of the panels necessary to offset the operations energy costs.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY ABOUT US

I have nothing but great things to say about working with Pickett Solar. Starting with the salesman that drafted the proposal, all the way to the engineering department and the customer service. We can call them up whenever possible to help us out and teach us along the way. They exceeded our expectations, delivered everything timely and came in under budget. We couldn’t be happier with this investment in solar. I highly recommend Pickett Solar to any Ag farmer, Processor or Packer out there.

Charles Kazarian | Circle K Ranch

We were so happy with the results and the savings that we are adding a 2-megawatt project that will add 6,360 more solar panels. This will bring our total offset of electricity to 72% and will be one of the largest privately owned systems in the Valley.

Martin Britz | SunWest Fruit Company

The competition is fierce when it comes to solar installation. National selected Pickett Solar, and Pickett Solar did not disappoint. They get it done. I would absolutely recommend Pickett Solar for any solar project.

Lindakay Abdulian | National Raisin Company

Pickett Solar did a 1.1 megawatt solar array right next to our dairy … and they were willing to adapt their proposal to what I wanted as a customer. I’d recommend Pickett Solar because they stand behind what they say.

Simon Vänder Woude | Vänder Woude Dairy

I have two solar systems that are seven and eight years old. Although there are many companies in the solar business, I went with Pickett because they are a second generation, local family owned business. They have a great reputation for honesty, fairness and quality workmanship. I would definitely recommend Pickett Solar.
